Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Ingredients

  • 3lb boneless chuck roast

  • Seasonings - salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder

  • 1 large onion roughly chopped

  • 1 pack mushrooms

  • Russet or golden potatoes, peeled and cut

  • Handful of baby carrots

  • 1 can beef consume

  • Beef broth

  • 3 packs McCormick slow cooker/pot roast packets

Instructions

  1. Season roast on all sides with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder.

  2. Using a skillet over high heat, sear roast until brown in oil.

  3. Place roast in a slow cooker, and layer in all other ingredients.

  4. Cover with enough beef broth to cover all of the ingredients. Cook on the low setting for 8 hours.
