Frozen Palomas

Ingredients

  • Chili powder, for glasses

  • Kosher salt

  • 1 lime wedge

  • 4 oz. ruby red grapefruit juice

  • 4 oz. tequila 

  • 2 oz. light agave syrup

  • 1 oz. fresh lime juice

  • 1/2 oz. pomegranate juice

  • Ice

  • 2 ruby red grapefruit wedges

Directions

  1. On a small, shallow plate, combine chili powder and a couple pinches of salt. Rub rims of 2 rocks glasses with lime wedge, then dip into chili powder mixture to coat.

  2. In a blender, combine grapefruit juice, tequila, syrup, lime juice, and pomegranate juice. Fill with ice and pulse on high speed until ice is crushed and drink is a slushie consistency, about 30 seconds.

  3. Fill prepared glasses with ice. Pour cocktail into glasses. Garnish with grapefruit wedges.
