Staying Fit Over The Winter Months

If there is one thing the pandemic taught me it’s that staying fit is possible if getting to the gym isn’t possible. I have become an avid user of fitness apps and even find myself squeezing in some exercise when Im at work...which never used to happen.

FITNESS APPS

Almost every exercise studio took their online game to the next level during the pandemic. And what a gift that is. I can bounce until my heart is content with LEKFIT’s digital platform or pick from 100’s of amazing workouts on my Obe App.

WALK

If you’re still looking to get your daily dose of vitamin D, popping outside for a quick walk or run is a tried and true way of keeping your body moving. In fact experts are saying that incorporating a post-meal walk help improve digestion, ease bloating, and mist importantly combat blood sugar spikes and reduce insulin levels. So leave the dishes in the sink and hit the pavement!

RECOVERY FITNESS

You can’t underestimate the importance of giving your body the tlc it needs. And between daily foam rolling exercises or routine massage, I find my body screaming ‘thank you!”. And this helps to prevent burn out and gives your body the warm hug it deserves!

I’ve put together and linked here some of my at home fitness go-to-basics that help keep me motivated!
