Spring Nails: Olive & June
There is no better feeling than taking some time to slow down and indulge in a little ‘me time’. And one of my favorite places to do that is at the stunning nail salon, Olive and June. It’s fresh and comfy interiors feel like you are right at home...if your home is uber chic and hip, that is! Owned by my friend, Sarah Gibson Tuttle, Olive and June is your one stop shop for nail care. Your treatments are specially catered to your needs, totally on trend, and completely affordable. If you’re in LA, you must check it out!
But if getting to indulge in one of their three locations isn’t happening anytime soon, you can enjoy the Olive and June experience with the launch of their first line of polishes.
I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek and got treated to a manicure by the epic, Queenie. At the request of my little miss Emme, I went for the blue shade. Aptly named, Barrett, which also happens to be the name of her bestie...it was meant to be!
Emme also had some fun with my nail art. I let her take full control of my spring nails and she chose daisies and hearts :) BUT I’m excited to try their cute evil eye’s and stars. Next time Queenie will be in charge!
All of the shades in the line are fresh, rich, and neutral. I have already deemed ‘Tara’ to be my new signature nail color. It’s totally understated but a little ‘extra’.
Olive and June also rolled out a ‘7-Free’ top coat to keep that mani looking fresh. If you’re like me and hard on those nails, this will save you! I was recently at a kid’s birthday party with Sarah and hiding my chipped nails. Thinking I dodged the bullet, I got home and received a friendly reminder text that I needed to stop in to Olive and June at my earliest convenience (ie ASAP) to get that worked out. I was busted! But now, I can pop this top coat on every couple of days to keep my nails O&J approved!
Now, if this isn’t exciting enough, I would like to introduce you to our new best friend, Poppy! This little bottle topper makes giving yourself a Queenie fabulous mani right at home a reality. It makes painting with your dominant and non-dominant hand equally as easy and fits on any nail polish bottle that you have!
I’m so excited for Sarah and the Olive and June team for this launch. But I’m even more excited for all of you to try it for yourselves. You can purchase all of their products on olivejune.com. I can’t wait to hear what you think!
