Entertaining Social Distance Style: Hand Washing Station

Where there is a will, there is a way! If you are in need of a little less FaceTime and more face-to-face (social distance style!) fun here’s a little sneak peek into how I’m backyard entertaining during quarantine. Obviously staying safe, healthy, masked and properly distanced is a must. But I had to get a little creative in providing my guests with a place to wash their hands when they arrived without accessing the inside of our home.

Hand washing may not be the most glamorous part of a party, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be beautiful! 

I filled a beverage container with fresh water and elevated it on a cake stand and one of my wooden crates. Then I tucked a pretty galvanized bucket underneath to collect the water. 

Add some pretty linens or single use hand towels, some soap, and bring it to life with pretty flowers. I promise your guests will be lining up to get those hands clean!

This may be a little over the top, but we all know gathering, celebrating, and entertaining brings me so much joy. And now more than ever we have to get creative to do so safely! Wishing you all a beautiful weekend!
