In search of a little change in scenery, we have been hiding out at the beach and really soaking up the family time. It has been so nice to just unwind and let the salt air fill us up with some much needed t.l.c..

This past weekend we celebrated Sailor’s birthday. All she wanted was for Elsa to sing her happy birthday but we didn’t feel like it was the right time to introduce a new princess into our quarantine crew.

So we decided to throw her a little frozen beach party. And instead of building a snowman; we built a SANDman! Sailor asked to make an entrance from the water like Elsa does, so naturally she needed a sparkling beach ball arch to make her entrance.

We feasted on a magical Elise’s Pieces cake, rice crispy ‘snowballs’ and Sailor had the time of her life. It was the most low key birthday we have celebrated since having the girls.

The party had just enough sparkle to feel special, but it was a was a reminder that the perfect recipe for an epic day is being surrounded by the people who really do believe you can ride horses on the waves and shoot magic from your hands...and CAKE...really, really good cake.

Happy Birthday, Sailor!

Xx,

Jo
