Send Your Friend A Card Day!

I love an excuse to celebrate something! For Christmas, Nick gave me a little journal that is designed to celebrate everything from ‘National Eating Pizza’ day to today’s ‘Send Your Friend A Card’ day. I’m unsure what the governing body is that declares these IMPORTANT days, but I’m all for it!

With emails, texts, and the paperless posts of the world, the good old fashioned letter or invitation seem to be fading. But I don’t know about you, I LOVE getting a piece of mail. And even more meaningful when it’s simply to just say ‘hello’ or that you’re thinking of me. So in the spirit of the day, I picked up a few cards at Paper Source and sent them out in hopes it would bring a smile to a few of my girlfriends. I ALSO used it as an excuse to restock my stationary bin with some new cards and (my personal favorite) note card sets! I’m always on the lookout for them. Target has a great selection and HomeGoods is my secret source for beautiful cards and wrapping paper. It always comes in handy to have a little stash for last minute gift giving and really, really super important international holiday’s like today...’send a friend a card day’!!! Ha!
